The 2026 Folds of Honor Fundraiser at Desert Willow Golf Resort brings together golfers, PGA Professionals, friends and supporters for an afternoon centered on camaraderie, gratitude and giving back.

Remembering Cody Franke, PGA
1994 – 2025
For Cody Franke, Folds of Honor was never simply another fundraiser on the calendar.
During his time as First Assistant Golf Professional and Merchandiser at Desert Willow Golf Resort, Cody returned to this cause year after year, giving his time, energy and heart to a mission that meant a great deal to him.
Cody was a PGA Professional, mentor, friend and the unforgettable “Coach Cody” to junior golfers who knew him through Fairway Kids and PGA Jr. League. Around Desert Willow, he was known for his infectious smile, his signature double high fives and the friendships he built with fellow PGA Professionals, colleagues and guests.
He was one of a kind.
Today, his connection to Folds of Honor gives this event an even deeper meaning. Each time our golf community comes together in support of this mission, we have an opportunity to continue something Cody cared deeply about.
We play with purpose. We give with gratitude. And we remember a friend who reminded us to:

2025: A Record Year of Impact
Together, We Raised $34,000 for Folds of Honor
In 2025, the Desert Willow community came together in an extraordinary way.
108 golfers. A sold-out field. More than $10,000 in raffle prizes. And a record-breaking $34,000 raised for Folds of Honor.
But the most meaningful moment of the day went beyond the numbers.
A Scholarship in Cody’s Name
During the 2025 fundraiser, 29 participants and Desert Willow team members stepped forward to contribute $250 each toward establishing a perpetual Folds of Honor scholarship in memory of Cody Franke, PGA.
Gathered beneath Cody’s banner, friends, colleagues and supporters turned remembrance into something lasting: an educational opportunity that will carry his name and his commitment to Folds of Honor forward.
A Folds of Honor scholarship in Cody’s name was presented by Cody’s family, creating a deeply personal connection between the cause Cody championed year after year and a family whose future will be touched by that generosity.
For a man who believed so strongly in this mission, it is a fitting legacy.

Cody Franke, PGA, was a former First Assistant Golf Professional and Merchandiser at Desert Willow Golf Resort. Affectionately known as “Coach Cody,” he worked with junior golfers through Fairway Kids and PGA Jr. League and formed lasting friendships throughout the PGA and Desert Willow communities.
Cody was also a dedicated supporter of Folds of Honor, participating in the fundraiser year after year. Following his passing in 2025, the Desert Willow community helped establish a perpetual Folds of Honor scholarship in his name.
