To ensure the best possible playing conditions year-round, Desert Willow Golf Resort will be undergoing scheduled maintenance across our facilities. Please review the timeline below when planning your visit:
Mountain View Course & Practice Facility Over Seeding Dates:
Please note: Our Mountain View Course & Full Swing Practice Facilities are scheduled to close for overseeding from September 22 through October 22, 2025. Mountain View will reopen without any cart path restrictions!
Firecliff Course Over Seeding Dates:
Please Note: Firecliff is scheduled to close for overseeding from November 3 through December 18, 2025. Firecliff will reopen without any cart path restrictions!
This planned closure is part of our annual maintenance to ensure optimal turf health and exceptional playing conditions.Thank you for your continued support; we can’t wait to see you out on the course!
Mountain View Course
June 23 – August 29: CLOSED for Turf Reduction – We’re enhancing the course with sustainable turf reduction improvements.
Reopens August 30
September 22 – October 22: Mountain View Course, Public Chipping Green, Practice Range, and Palm Desert Golf Academy CLOSED
Reopens October 24
Firecliff Course
July 21 – July 30: CLOSED for summer maintenance
Reopens July 31 with playable greens
August 18 – August 27: CLOSED for second round of summer maintenance
Reopens August 28 with playable greens
November 3 – December 18: Firecliff Course and Public Putting Green CLOSED
