The City of Palm Desert Championship is back for Memorial Day Weekend 2025, offering an elite two-person team tournament played over two days on the stunning Firecliff and Mountain View courses.

Get ready for an unforgettable round on Mountain View, one of Southern California’s premier resort-style courses. While its wider fairways and limited desert waste areas may seem inviting, don’t be fooled—this 6,913-yard layout is a true test of skill. With 98 strategically placed bunkers, undulating greens, and seven water features, Mountain View demands precision and strategy from golfers of all levels.

THE ULTIMATE CHAMPIONSHIP TEST
Firecliff is Palm Desert’s premier desert-style championship course, built for golfers who thrive on strategy and precision. Stretching 7,056 yards, this par-72 layout challenges players with expansive natural areas, over 100 bunkers, and strategic water hazards. Its risk-reward design, undulating fairways, and sloping greens demand both power and finesse.
As one of the host courses for the City of Palm Desert Championship, Firecliff sets the stage for teams to battle for the title of Golf Champion of Palm Desert.
Flight Information
The field will be split into two flights: Flight A and Flight B. Flights will be determined based on participation levels.
Teams will compete in an “open” format.
Gross + Net
Net players may select any tee box. Course handicaps will be adjusted based on the tees you choose. Gross players will be required to play from the qualifying tee boxes.
Net Only
Players may select any tee box. Course handicaps will be adjusted based on the tees you choose.

Qualifying Tees
Eligibility to compete for Gross awards will require playing the following qualifying tee boxes.

Current USGA/GHIN Handicap required for any net competition but will not be required for gross flight. The index taken will be what’s current on May 15, 2025.
