2025 Summer and Fall Course Maintenance Schedule
To ensure the best possible playing conditions year-round, Desert Willow Golf Resort will be undergoing scheduled maintenance across our facilities. Please review the timeline below when planning your visit:
Summer Closure Notice
Please note that the Mountain View Course at Desert Willow Golf Resort will be closed for turf reduction and scheduled summer maintenance from late June 2025 through early September 2025. While exact dates are not yet finalized, tee sheets have been blocked accordingly. As the scope of work becomes more defined, we will share additional updates.
We appreciate your patience and look forward to unveiling course improvements later this year.
Mountain View Course
June 23 – September 1 (estimated): CLOSED for Turf Reduction – We’re enhancing the course with sustainable turf reduction improvements.
Reopening date to be announced – check back soon!
September 22 – October 22: Mountain View Course, Public Chipping Green, Practice Range, and Palm Desert Golf Academy CLOSED
Reopens October 24
Firecliff Course
July 21 – July 30: CLOSED for summer maintenance
Reopens July 31 with playable greens
August 18 – August 27: CLOSED for second round of summer maintenance
Reopens August 28 with playable greens
November 3 – December 18: Firecliff Course and Public Putting Green CLOSED
