From check-in to the 18th green, we’ve thoughtfully prepared every detail to ensure your time with us is effortless and enjoyable.

• Please register in the Golf Shop prior to entering the course or practice facility.
• We kindly ask that all guests arrive at least 25 minutes before your scheduled tee time.
• Each player must have their own set of golf clubs; we offer premium rentals if needed.
• A convenient bag drop is located at the Resort Clubhouse entrance.
• Unless otherwise directed, all rounds begin on the first tee.

On-Course Amenities

Refreshments, Refill Stations, and Service with a Smile

• Outside food and beverages are not permitted on property.
• All refreshments must be purchased from Desert Willow Golf Resort.
• Ice and water stations are available throughout the course.
• Personal coolers are not allowed.
• Our beverage cart visits each nine once per round. Additional service is available when business allows.

Booking your time at Desert Willow means more than securing a tee, it’s your first step into an exceptional day.

• Secure your preferred time online at desertwillow.com/bookateetime
• Tee times may be reserved up to 60 days in advance with a credit card guarantee.
• Rates include a shared golf cart with Visage GPS and complimentary practice balls.
• All players must have their own set of clubs.
• Singles, twosomes, and threesomes should expect to be paired with other players.
• Walk-ins and standby groups are welcome when availability allows.
• Final pricing, including resident and junior discounts, is confirmed at check-in.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Flexible When You Need It – Fair for Everyone

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to offer flexibility while respecting tee time demand.

• Cancel or modify your reservation at least 48 hours in advance to avoid charges.
• Changes made within 48 hours of your tee time will result in a charge for any unsold spots.
• No-shows will be charged at the regular rack rate.

Rental Clubs

Whether you’re traveling light or trying something new, our premium rental sets ensure you’re fully equipped for the course.

• $75 per set
• Includes 2 sleeves of golf balls
• Right- and left-handed sets available
• Men’s and women’s clubs available
• Men’s sets include regular and stiff flex options

Pace of Play

Keeping the Game Enjoyable, for Everyone on the Course

We aim to provide a relaxing, well-paced experience for all guests. Please help us maintain a consistent rhythm of play.

• Expected pace is 4 hours and 19 minutes for 18 holes.
• A group is considered out of position if they can no longer see the group ahead.
• You may be notified of pace concerns via:
  • Cart GPS messaging
  • A Player Assistant
  • A Golf Professional
• If unable to maintain pace, guests may be asked to skip a hole or pick up and finish.

Practice Facility

Fine-Tune Your Game in a Beautiful Desert Setting

Our expansive practice area welcomes both golfers warming up for a round and guests looking to sharpen their skills in a serene, professional environment.

• Open daily from sunrise to 4:00 PM
• Includes chipping, putting, and full swing zones
• Guests must register in the Golf Shop prior to entry
• Practice-only access is available to non-registered golfers for $30 per person, after 10:00 AM only
• All guests must bring their own clubs –

Palm Desert Resident Rate

Exclusive Local Access with Valid Resident Card

We’re proud to offer a special rate to our Palm Desert neighbors. Please review the guidelines below to ensure a smooth check-in.

• $52 rate available to Palm Desert Residents
• Must be reserved up to 3 days in advance
• A valid Palm Desert Resident Card is required at check-in
  | Driver’s licenses do not qualify as proof of residency
• All players in the group must present their own Resident Cards, regardless of who is paying
• Cards must be valid, current, and non-transferable
• Expired or borrowed cards will not be accepted
• Bookings made more than 3 days in advance will be charged the public rate
• All reservations must be secured with a credit card and follow Desert Willow’s standard booking and cancellation policies

• Junior rates are available for guests 17 and under
• Must be accompanied by a paid adult

Spectators & Riders

Policies Designed for Comfort, Safety, and Flow

To ensure the best experience for all guests, we’ve established the following guidelines regarding non-playing riders and course access:

• Non-golfing riders are not permitted at this time
• Single golfers will be paired in shared carts with another player
• Cart dividers are available upon request for added comfort and safety
• Walking, jogging, or non-golf activity is not allowed on the course
