General Questions
The Palm Desert Golf Academy is Southern California’s premier destination for golf instruction, located at Desert Willow Golf Resort. We offer private lessons, golf schools, daily clinics, junior programs, fitness classes, and custom club fitting, all taught by PGA-certified professionals.
Instruction is led by award-winning PGA Professionals including Paul Bucy, Ryan Szydlowski, Jason Wilkinson, and others. Each instructor brings decades of experience and a personalized approach to helping golfers of all levels.

Private Instruction & Golf Schools
We offer 30-minute and 50-minute private lessons, junior lessons, short game sessions, putting lessons, and 2-hour on-course playing lessons. All include OnForm video analysis.
* One-Day Performance School: High-impact, full-day coaching + twilight round
* Two-Day Signature School: Comprehensive instruction with daily twilight rounds
* Three-Day Signature School: Full swing, short game, on-course coaching + practice plan
* Mastering the Short Game: One-day school focused on scoring techniques
Yes! Our instructors tailor instruction to all skill levels, including beginners.
OnForm video analysis, TrackMan4, and Capto for putter fitting.
Daily Clinics & Fitness Classes
Daily clinics are 50-minute group lessons focusing on full swing, short game, or bunker play. A 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio ensures personalized feedback.
A 45-minute mobility and strength class that improves swing efficiency and reduces injury risk. It’s suitable for all skill levels.
Equipment is provided for both golf and fitness sessions upon request.
Junior Programs
* Fairway Kids Skill Series: Beginners ages 7–13
* Bobcats Players Series: Intermediate/advanced players
* PGA Jr. League: Team-based competition for all skill levels
* Junior Lessons: 30 or 50-minute private lessons
* Junior Memberships: Year-round practice access + benefits
Yes, equipment is available if needed.
4:1 for beginners, 6:1 for advanced, and team coaching for PGA Jr. League.
Custom Club Fitting
Yes. We offer full bag, single club, and putter fittings using TrackMan and Capto technology.
We fit Titleist, Ping, TaylorMade, and Scotty Cameron, among others.
Yes. You’ll receive a post-fitting report and personalized specs.
Academy Memberships
