How Platinum Club Card Pricing Works
As a Platinum Club member, you’ll always receive approximately 25–30% off the publicly available golf rate.
Because Desert Willow uses dynamic pricing, rates adjust based on:

- Day of week
- Tee time
- Availability
As public rates increase or decrease, your Platinum member rate adjusts accordingly while maintaining your member savings.

- The Platinum Club Card does not guarantee tee time availability.
- Booking privileges may be revoked if members violate reservation policies, including canceling and rebooking tee times to seek lower rates.
- Cardholders must be present at check-in to receive preferred rates and applicable discounts.
- Tee time cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled play date.
- A non-refundable booking fee will be charged at the time of reservation. This amount will be applied toward green fees upon check-in.

What time can I purchase a Platinum Club Card on August 10?
Platinum Club Cards will be available for purchase starting at 6:00 AM PST on August 10, 2026.
Can I book tee times before picking up my physical Platinum Card?
Yes. As soon as your membership is processed and activated, you’ll receive a welcome email confirming access. At that point, you can begin booking tee times online or through our mobile app. Please allow a few days for processing due to high demand on launch day.
When will I receive my physical Platinum Card?
Your photo will be taken and your physical card printed during your first visit. Be ready for your glamour shot!
Who qualifies for the Non-Resident Platinum Club Card rate?
The 2026–2027 Non-Resident Platinum Club Card is available for $599 per cardholder. Designed for golfers who love returning to Desert Willow, it’s available to Coachella Valley residents outside of Palm Desert, as well as seasonal visitors and travelers from near and far, whether you’re here for a weekend, the winter, or throughout the year. Will there be an “early bird” discount this season?
No. The early bird discount will not be offered for the 2026–2027 season, and we anticipate a quick sell-out.
How do I verify my Palm Desert Resident Card online?
Our staff will verify residency using the City of Palm Desert’s official list of valid Resident Cardholders.
My Palm Desert Resident Card is expired or lost. Can I still buy at the resident rate and update later?
Yes. You may purchase now and present a valid Palm Desert Resident Card upon your first visit to confirm eligibility.
What if I can’t provide my Palm Desert Resident Card upon arrival?
You may pay the difference: $270 to maintain your benefits.
How much is the non-refundable booking fee?
A $2.50 per-player fee is charged at the time of booking. This fee is separate from your green fee.
Why is there a booking fee?
Booking fees help ensure accurate reservations and encourage timely cancellations or updates.
How do I reserve tee times at my Platinum rate?
All Platinum Club tee times must be booked online this season. Instructions will be included in your welcome email.
I need to adjust a reservation. What should I do?
Call the Golf Shop at (760) 346-7060 ext. 1 to make modifications without incurring another booking fee.
How does dynamic pricing work?
Rates change based on demand and time of day, just like airline or hotel pricing. Planning ahead can unlock the best deals.
How does the 60-day booking window work?
Tee times open at 8:00 AM PST, 60 days in advance for all Platinum Club and Non-Resident members.
How do I know the Platinum Club Card is a good value if rates vary?
You’ll always get the best available rate – 30% off prime time and 25% off twilight rates, guaranteed.
Do Platinum members receive discounts on golf schools or clinics?
No. Platinum benefits include 15% off individual instruction only.
How can I join the waitlist if cards sell out?
An online waitlist will be made available. Any unsold Palm Desert Resident cards as of December 1st may be offered to waitlisted Non-Residents.
